Our dogs are pets and share our home with us. We are not a kennel.
This handsome, well-sculpted, graceful animal is a loyal family companion & one of the most exuberant breeds around. Boxers are a canine clown & are an outgoing breed that is highly valued as an affectionate pet, guardian of home & a family's best friend.
We are located in the seasonal state of Maine. We take great pride in our dogs and strive to breed and raise healthy, happy and well adjusted puppies. We spend a lot of time playing with & holding our puppies daily to socialize them while they are in our care.. All of our puppies receive the proper vaccinations and de-wormings before they are ready to leave us.
We strive to produce boxers with beautiful heads and faces, proper coats, nice structure and loving even temperaments.
We raise our puppies so that they are healthy, well socialized and ready to make someone's life a little brighter. We want each pup to be one that we would want to adopt into our family.
Each puppy will bring years of happiness into the lives of their families.
When a boxer puppy leaves us we only wish to place them in a loving home that is aware of the boxer breed's needs and the responsibilities that comes with adopting one of our puppies. We screen homes for our puppies by asking that all potential adopters fill out our puppy application. We evaluate the new homes to be sure that our pups are placed in homes they would be most suited for each puppy. If you are interested in adopting one of our boxer puppies the first step would be filling out the puppy application here on our website and emailing it to us.
The next step is a phone interview.
Puppies are a great responsibility and a lifetime commitment, the purchase of one should not be taken lightly.
This could be as much as a 15 year commitment, people should think carefully before making the decision to adopt one of our pups.
We are not a kennel, our boxers reside here with us and are house pets..
Our boxers spend their days here with us, cuddling up on the couch together, going for rides, playing outdoors, loving all the attention they get and are always up for a game of tug-a-war.
Our dogs are fed good quality food that is high in protein and fat, and are seen regularly by our vet.
The well being of each puppy is very important to us throughout their lives.
We are dedicated to each and every puppy. Once this puppy leaves our "nest," if for any reason or change of mind on the new owners part, (such as landlords disapproval, allergy to animal, disagreement of family, divorce, illness, etc) then pup is to be returned to us. We do not allow pups to be placed into rescue groups or shelters or third parties. We may make exceptions on this matter but it must be discussed with the breeder. We can disapprove any home at any time if we feel it's for the best interest of the puppy/dog.
Adding a companion is a lifetime commitment which could last up to 10-15 years, however, we do understand that unforeseen circumstances come up and that is why we are here. We do not want any of our pups or dogs to end up in shelters, rescues, science labs, pet stores, etc.. Pups are sold as a companion/pet. I assume no responsibility for the height or weight of the puppy as it matures. We can only estimate. Puppies are like children, size of parents does not always guarantee size of puppy. Much depends on care, food and living conditions given by the purchaser.
We love our boxers dearly and think every family should own a boxer. "If it's not a boxer, it's just a dog."
- Boxers are known for their wonderful personalities, their passion and tolerance for children, their love for their owners and their will to please everyone who meets them. The boxers unconditional love brings happiness into the lives of anyone who owns one and we truly believe once someone owns a boxer they will always own or want one.
And yes, we also enjoy their sloppy kisses and enjoy them rolling around on the floor like goof balls. They have brought so much happiness, joy, and unconditional love to our lives and our mission is to provide a healthy, happy, well-socialized puppy that will bring as much happiness to every family, just as our boxers have brought to ours!
I hope this introduction has answered any question that you might have about our goals and policies concerning our babies and the lives that are dogs have here with us. If there is any addition information that you might want do not hesitate to contact us with questions.. If you are interested in being put on our future waiting list, or would like to adopt a puppy we currently have, please fill out our puppy application and email it to us. We hope that you enjoy the boxer breed as much as we do and look forward to hearing from you![email protected]
Our boxers live well, play often & love much.
White Boxer Information
_______________________________________________________________
We are white boxer friendly.
We do not breed white boxers, purposely try to produce white boxers puppies nor do we ever destroy them as some other breeders may do..
Throughout our years of breeding, we have only had two litters in 2011 that produced some white pups and they were just as beautiful as the rest. White boxers are as just as beautiful as fawn or brindle.Do not be fooled by some breeders who claim white boxers are rare, they are not rare.
White Boxer Myths & Facts
MYTH #1
White Boxers are rare.
FACT
Approximately 20 - 25% of all Boxers are born white. In fact, some of the first foundation dogs for the Boxer breed were white. Since White Boxers do not conform to the breed standard, many are euthanized by breeders (for example: many stud owners make the dam owners sign a contract that all whites will be put down at birth, before they will agree to breed and many breeders just take it upon themselves to put down white pups at birth).
As a matter of fact because of putting the label off "RARE" on these white boxers, unscrupulous breeders,
backyard breeders and puppy millers, and even some pet stores bill them as such and add a hefty price tag!

MYTH #2
White Boxers develop more health problems and are sicker than other Boxers.
FACT
Because a Boxer is white does not mean that it is going to be unhealthy. No clinical evidence has been recorded showing the White Boxer at higher risk for health problems. Many whites are born without problems and stay trouble-free for the duration of their lives. In most ways these angels aren't much different than the other puppies in their litters. When problems do occur, they can occur in non-whites as well, but due to this seeming to have been less interesting to acknowledge in the past, it is difficult to find clear statistics about the white/nonwhite issue.

MYTH #3
White Boxers that are deaf are not trainable.
FACT
Although there is a higher incidence of deafness when a Boxer is white (approximately 18% of whites), not all are deaf. Deaf Boxers can be trained using a variety of methods including hand signals, sign language, flashlights and more. Training any Boxer, hearing or deaf, requires time, patience and understanding.

FACT
White Boxers are not "mean". Coat color on a Boxer does not affect a Boxer's personality. White Boxers exhibit the same endearing personality traits as their darker counterparts.

MYTH #5
White Boxers are albinos.
FACT
White Boxers are not albinos. Albino dogs do not have any pigment. White Boxers are simply born with white hair.
MYTH #6
White Boxers cannot be registered.
FACT
White Boxers can be registered on limited privilege with the Kennel Club. However, they cannot be shown in the conformation ring, but they can be shown in obedience. It has been said that, if they were bred, they might simply "spoil the color markings" that people had worked so hard to develop. The answer is not quite so simple.
There is so much more to the question of breeding whites. If you do not have the experience and knowledge as a breeder and are looking just to breed your boxer once because " it's so cute those little puppies" the answer is quite simple...Don't breed a white boxer....

"THE HALF-BREED BOXER"
They call me a Boxer,
But I'm a half-Breed.
Part Boxer of course,
and part people indeed.
Anyone who owns me knows it's true.
We're so close to being people,
we're like part of you.
"He's one of the family",
you've heard people say.
"Don't know how we'll manage when he passes away."
But they'll get another Boxer,
a pure bred at first.
Not the most well-behaved puppy,
but far from the worst.
Then the change will take place,
the same as before...
They'll end up with the same human HALF-BREED once more!
